Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Birmingham, AL)

Fernwood Quill Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Birmingham region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
