Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Birmingham, AL)

Foxglove Haven Water Authority Partners is a public water utility serving the Birmingham area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
