Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Juniper Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Birmingham. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
