Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Birmingham, AL)

Summit Clear Energy Group is an energy provider in Birmingham focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
