Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Umber Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Baltimore, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
