Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Partners operates treatment plants and pipelines around Baltimore, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
