Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Amberfield Quill Facilities is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
