Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Nova Wren Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Baltimore with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 101 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
