Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Baltimore, MD)

Bright Keystone Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
