Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Linden Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
