Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Austin, TX)

Nova Oak Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Austin, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supply orders.
