Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Atlanta, GA)

Amberfield Sparrow Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Atlanta with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 833 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for weigh tickets and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
