Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Atlanta, GA)

Redstone Vale Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Atlanta and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
