Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

Fernwood Fox Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Anchorage. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
