Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Loom Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 554 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
