Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Anchorage, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
