Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Anchorage and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
