Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Albuquerque, NM)

Summit Basin Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Albuquerque plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
