Operations Manager - process improvement (Wichita, KS)

Nova Beacon Manufacturing is a Wichita manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
