Operations Manager - process improvement (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sparrow Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
