Operations Manager - process improvement (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Summit Nest Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
