Operations Manager - process improvement (Toledo, OH)

Nova River Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects.
