Operations Manager - process improvement (Toledo, OH)

Foxglove Meridian Farms is an agricultural business based around Toledo, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for grower contracts and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
