Operations Manager - process improvement (Toledo, OH)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
