Operations Manager - process improvement (Tampa, FL)

Summit Forge Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
