Operations Manager - process improvement (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Silverline Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 318 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
