Operations Manager - process improvement (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Rowan Farms and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
