Operations Manager - process improvement (St. Louis, MO)

Westbrook Wren Freight is a St. Louis logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
