Operations Manager - process improvement (St. Louis, MO)

Summit Stone Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near St. Louis, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
