Operations Manager - process improvement (St. Louis, MO)

Greenridge Basin Foods is a St. Louis food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
