Operations Manager - process improvement (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Nova West Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
