Operations Manager - process improvement (Spokane, WA)

Greenridge West Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Spokane with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
