Operations Manager - process improvement (Spokane, WA)

Nova West Foods is a Spokane food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
