Operations Manager - process improvement (Spokane, WA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Amber Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with parts orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
