Operations Manager - process improvement (Savannah, GA)

Fernwood Bright Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
