Operations Manager - process improvement (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Hollow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Savannah, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 952 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
