Operations Manager - process improvement (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Quarry Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
