Operations Manager - process improvement (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Meridian Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Jose. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 148 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for supply orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
