Operations Manager - process improvement (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Clear Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
