Operations Manager - process improvement (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Quarry Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
