Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Ember Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 248 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
