Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Fox Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
