Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Orchard Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
