Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Maple Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for parts orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
