Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Ivory Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
