Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove Drift Farms is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 942 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
