Operations Manager - process improvement (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Summit Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 290 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
