Operations Manager - process improvement (San Antonio, TX)

Summit Meadow Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
