Operations Manager - process improvement (San Antonio, TX)

Foxglove Bridge Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
