Operations Manager - process improvement (San Antonio, TX)

Amberfield Birch Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across San Antonio. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
